About LAPPY CAFE

The ground floor of the building is LAPPY CAFE, which we run.

LAPPY CAFE opened in 2023 in a former school building in Kashima City, Saga, and moved to Ureshino in May 2025.

The cafe serves specialty coffee and food that is gentle on the body, such as gluten-free rice flour waffles.

Mornings for our guests

Guests can use LAPPY CAFE downstairs from 9:00 to 11:00 every morning. Cafe food and drinks are paid separately from your room. If you would like to use the cafe before check-out but earlier than 9:00, please book in advance.

Over a morning coffee, you can ask us where to go that day.

You can also order a coffee downstairs before you head out.

A day at LAPPY

15:00–18:00
Check in
Check-in is from 15:00 to 18:00. If you will arrive after 18:00, please contact us. Once you have dropped off your bags, ask us about the town.
After check-in
Walk the hot-spring town
Walk to shops and public baths in the hot-spring town. Shoes are not allowed inside, and you are free to use the outdoor slippers when you go out.
Evening
Take a hot spring bath
There is no hot spring bath at the guesthouse, so use a public bath in town such as Siebold-no-Yu. The guesthouse has a shared shower room and bathroom.
Night
Dinner in town
We are room only and do not serve meals. Have dinner at a restaurant in the hot-spring town.
Until 22:00
Relax in the common space
The common space on the ground floor is open until 22:00. The shared shower is booked by writing your name on the whiteboard in front of the shower room, up to 30 minutes per guest.

Lights out and the door locks
We turn off the lights and lock the front door at 22:00. You can still go out after 22:00 using the smart lock. From 22:00 to 7:00, other guests are sleeping, so please keep quiet.

Check-out is by 10:00. When you leave, please put your key in the box at the front desk.
